BizzPocket Technologies Private Limited ("BizzPocket") operates as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) e-commerce infrastructure provider. This policy covers two distinct categories: (a) BizzPocket's own SaaS subscription services used by Merchants, and (b) goods/services purchased by Buyers from Merchant-operated storefronts. Please read the relevant section carefully.

Part A: BizzPocket SaaS Subscriptions (For Merchants)

1. Free Plan

The BizzPocket free plan does not involve any payment. There is no refund applicable. You may use the free plan indefinitely, subject to our Terms of Service. BizzPocket reserves the right to modify free plan features with reasonable notice.

2. Paid Subscription Plans

2.1 Billing Cycle

Paid subscriptions are billed either monthly or annually, depending on the plan selected at the time of purchase. All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable GST.

2.2 Auto-Renewal

All paid subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle. You will be charged the then-current subscription rate unless you cancel before the renewal date. A reminder notification will be sent at least 7 days before renewal.

2.3 Cancellation by Merchant

  • You may cancel your paid subscription at any time through the billing section of your seller dashboard or by contacting support.
  • Upon cancellation, you will retain access to all premium features until the end of your current billing cycle.
  • After the billing cycle ends, your account will be automatically downgraded to the free plan.
  • Your store data (products, orders, customers) will be preserved on the free plan, subject to free plan limits.

2.4 Refund Policy for Monthly Plans

  • Within 7 days of first subscription: If you are a first-time subscriber and request a refund within 7 calendar days of your initial purchase, you are eligible for a full refund. This is a one-time courtesy applicable only to your first paid subscription.
  • After 7 days or on renewal: No refunds will be issued for monthly subscriptions after the initial 7-day period or for any renewal charges. Cancellation stops future billing but does not trigger a refund for the current cycle.

2.5 Refund Policy for Annual Plans

  • Within 14 days of purchase: Annual plan subscribers may request a full refund within 14 calendar days of the initial purchase, provided the Platform has not been substantively used (fewer than 10 orders processed, fewer than 50 products listed).
  • After 14 days: No refunds will be issued. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the annual billing cycle.
  • Annual plans are non-transferable and cannot be converted to monthly plans mid-cycle.

2.6 Downgrade

If you downgrade from a higher plan to a lower plan, the downgrade takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle. No refunds or credits are issued for the difference in plan pricing during the current cycle.

3. Trial Periods

  • If BizzPocket offers a free trial of a paid plan, you will not be charged during the trial period.
  • You must cancel before the trial expires to avoid being charged the full subscription fee.
  • If you cancel during the trial, you will retain access to trial features until the trial period ends.
  • Trial availability, duration, and terms are at BizzPocket's sole discretion and may vary.

4. Payment Failures & Overdue Accounts

  • If a subscription payment fails, BizzPocket will attempt to retry the charge up to 3 times over a 7-day period.
  • If all retry attempts fail, your account will be downgraded to the free plan after a 7-day grace period.
  • During the grace period, your store remains active. After downgrade, premium features will be disabled but your data will be preserved.
  • You may reactivate your subscription at any time by updating your payment method and selecting a plan.

5. Refunds Initiated by BizzPocket

BizzPocket may issue a full or partial refund at its sole discretion in the following circumstances:

  • A material service outage exceeding 72 consecutive hours attributable to BizzPocket (not Third-Party Services or force majeure).
  • Duplicate charges or billing errors confirmed by our billing team.
  • Account termination by BizzPocket without cause (not due to Terms violation).

Part B: Purchases from Merchant Storefronts (For Buyers)

6. Merchant Storefront Purchases

If you are a Buyer who purchased goods or services from an independent storefront powered by BizzPocket, please note the following:

  • BizzPocket is not the seller. Each Merchant operates independently and is solely responsible for their products, pricing, fulfillment, customer service, and refund policies.
  • Merchant-specific policies apply. Refund, return, and exchange policies vary by Merchant. Please review the specific Merchant's policies on their storefront before making a purchase.
  • Contact the Merchant directly. All refund requests, return authorizations, and cancellation requests must be directed to the Merchant from whom you purchased. BizzPocket cannot process, authorize, or issue refunds on behalf of Merchants.
  • Consumer rights preserved. Your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, are not affected by these Terms. If a Merchant fails to honor your lawful rights, you may file a complaint with the appropriate consumer forum.

7. Payment Gateway Processing

When a Merchant initiates a refund through the BizzPocket dashboard, the connected payment gateway (Razorpay, Cashfree, or PhonePe) processes the return of funds to the Buyer's original payment method. Refund timelines depend on the payment gateway and the Buyer's bank:

  • UPI refunds: Typically processed within 2-5 business days.
  • Credit/Debit card refunds: 5-10 business days depending on the issuing bank.
  • Net banking refunds: 5-7 business days.
  • COD refunds: Processed via bank transfer by the Merchant; timelines vary.

BizzPocket does not hold buyer funds and is not responsible for delays caused by payment gateways or banks.

8. Chargebacks & Disputed Transactions

BizzPocket is not responsible for resolving chargeback disputes or investigating fraudulent buyer claims. Chargebacks are handled directly between the Merchant, the Buyer, and the Merchant's connected payment gateway. Merchants are advised to maintain adequate transaction records, delivery proofs, and customer communication logs to defend against chargeback claims.

9. How to Request a Refund

For BizzPocket SaaS subscription refunds: Email our billing team at support@bizzpocket.com with your registered email, plan details, and reason for the refund request. We will respond within 3 business days.

For Merchant storefront purchase refunds: Contact the Merchant directly using the contact information provided on their storefront.
